Weekly gatherings

Practical workshops and open tables

Join us at the Elmwood hall every week for hands-on woodworking, mending, communal baking, and youth art circles. All materials and tools remain free of charge.

Ongoing tracks

Four weekly neighborhood circles

Tuesdays & Saturdays 9am

Communal Garden Circle

Tending raised vegetable beds, turning compost, and propagating native seedlings in our solar greenhouse. Work gloves, heirloom seeds, and harvesting baskets are always ready by the gate.

Thursdays 1pm–4pm

Community Repair Shop

Volunteer mechanics and stitchers help fix broken table lamps, patch worn denim jackets, and tune up commuter bicycles. Bring your stubborn household goods and learn practical fixes together.

Saturdays 11am–2pm

Kitchen Table & Bakery

Baking sourdough loaves, simmering seasonal soups from garden harvests, and setting one long communal lunch table. We provide unbleached flour, cast iron Dutch ovens, and fresh tea for everyone who arrives.

Saturdays 10am–12pm

Youth & Family Studio

Open-ended art and construction projects using reclaimed timber, clay, and linocut printmaking for young neighbors and parents. All protective aprons, nontoxic washes, and gouges stay ready on low workbenches.

Take something home

Look over the current week's schedule posted outside the hall doors or listed above. Sessions run rain or shine without online signups.

Arrive whenever the doors unlock. You do not need previous trade experience, personal toolkits, or special materials to join any table.

Grab an apron or work gloves and team up with whoever is already working. Fellow neighbors demonstrate techniques step by step.

Head home with a mended bicycle, a jar of sourdough starter, harvested greens, or simply the confidence to build something yourself.

Teach a neighborhood workshop

Have a trade, mending technique, or recipe you want to pass along? We provide the hall space, workbench tools, and material stipends for any two-hour Saturday gathering.
